Florida is hard on steel
Salt air, humidity and a storm most summer afternoons. Anything steel that lives outside on the Treasure Coast is rusting right now: trailers, truck frames, gates, railings, tanks.
Painting over rust doesn't stop it. Blasting takes it all the way off, down to clean metal, and leaves a rough surface that primer bites into. Then a good coating keeps the salt out for years instead of months.
Salt air
Coastal air leaves salt on metal that pulls in moisture and speeds up rust.
Humidity
Bare steel can flash rust within days, which is why we prime right after blasting.
Sun
UV breaks down old paint until it chalks and peels, and then the rust gets in.

We set up
The rig parks next to the item. Tarps and plastic go down around it.
Blast & coat
Rust and paint come off, then primer and paint if you want it. We clean up.

Restorations start with bare metal
A classic car or old truck hides rust under every layer of paint and filler. Blasting shows you exactly what you're working with, and gives the body shop a clean surface to prime.

Common questions
What areas do you serve?
All of Florida. We're based in Vero Beach and work the Treasure Coast every week, and our industrial and commercial crews travel statewide for pipelines, tanks, mines and plants. See the service area.
Are you MSHA certified?
Yes. Our crew is MSHA certified, so we can work on mine sites, including sand mines, conveyors and dredge equipment. See sand mining and conveyors.
Do you coat potable water and wastewater tanks?
Yes. We blast and recoat potable water and wastewater tanks. Send us the tank size, what's on it now and the coating spec if you have one. See water and wastewater tanks.
Do you really come to me?
Yes. That's what the mobile in our name means. We tow the blast rig to your house, yard, shop or job site and do the work where the item sits. Some smaller parts can also be done at our shop.
What about the dust and the mess?
Blasting throws spent media. We lay tarps and plastic down around the work, set up where the dust won't blow onto cars or houses, and clean up the spent media when we're done. Let us know about anything nearby that needs covering, like pools, cars or open windows.
How much does sandblasting cost?
It depends on the size of the item, how much rust and paint is on it, where it is and whether you want it painted after. The fastest way to get a real number is to text a few photos and the location to (772) 539-3108 or use the free quote form.
We're hiring
