Mobile sandblasting on the Treasure Coast
Our blast rig is on a trailer. We tow it to wherever your rusted steel is, blast it back to clean metal, and clean up after.

The rig on a job site: blast pot, hose and aftercooler.
What sandblasting does
Abrasive blasting shoots a hard media through a nozzle with compressed air. It strips rust, mill scale and old paint and leaves bare metal with a slightly rough surface, called a profile, that primer and paint grip far better than smooth or rusty steel.
It gets into corners, welds, channels and pitted spots that a grinder or wire wheel can't reach, and it's much faster on big items.
Why mobile
A trailer frame, a dump body, a gate or a tank is a pain to haul to a shop. With a mobile rig you don't have to. We set up next to it, tarp the area and do the job where it sits.

Trailer frame: rusted, then blasted and painted.

Common questions
Do you really come to me?
Yes. That's what the mobile in our name means. We tow the blast rig to your house, yard, shop or job site and do the work where the item sits. Some smaller parts can also be done at our shop.
What do you need from me on site?
Room to park our rig close to the item, a clear area around it that we can tarp off, and access to it. Our rig brings its own air, so most jobs don't need anything plugged in. If a job needs water or power we'll tell you when we quote it.
What about the dust and the mess?
Blasting throws spent media. We lay tarps and plastic down around the work, set up where the dust won't blow onto cars or houses, and clean up the spent media when we're done. Let us know about anything nearby that needs covering, like pools, cars or open windows.
What's the difference between sandblasting and soda blasting?
Both shoot a media at the surface with compressed air. Sandblasting uses a hard abrasive that cuts through heavy rust, mill scale and thick paint and leaves a rough profile that new coatings grip well. Soda blasting uses baking soda, which is much softer: it takes off paint and grime without cutting into the surface, but it won't remove real rust or leave a profile for paint. For rusted steel, abrasive blasting is the right tool. Call and we'll tell you what fits your job.
How much does sandblasting cost?
It depends on the size of the item, how much rust and paint is on it, where it is and whether you want it painted after. The fastest way to get a real number is to text a few photos and the location to (772) 539-3108 or use the free quote form.
How long does a job take?
It depends on the item and how bad the rust is. We'll give you a time estimate with your quote, and plan the work around the weather.
