Classic car sandblasting for restorations

Bodies, cabs, fenders and frames taken down to bare metal, so your restoration starts from the truth instead of old filler and rust.

What we did on this sedan

This one came to us with decades of rust and several colors of paint. The body, fenders and the full frame were all blasted to bare metal, then the body went into the shop for primer.

Blasting shows every pinhole and patch before any money goes into bodywork. Nothing gets hidden under the new paint.

  • Body shell, doors and fenders
  • Full frame and suspension parts
  • Truck cabs, beds and small parts
  • Primer after blasting, or straight to your painter

Thin metal needs care

Car body panels are thin. Too much pressure, the wrong media or holding the nozzle in one place too long can warp them. Tell us exactly what you're bringing, which panels are original, and whether there's filler or fiberglass, and we'll plan the job around it.

Common questions

Will blasting damage thin car panels or fiberglass?

It can if it's done wrong. Thin sheet metal and fiberglass need the right media, pressure and distance. Tell us exactly what the part is when you ask for a quote so we plan the right approach.

Do you blast the whole car or just parts?

Both. Full bodies, frames, cabs and loose parts. Tell us what's apart and what's still assembled.

Should the car be stripped first?

Glass, trim, interior, wiring and rubber should come out first. Call and we'll go through it with you.

Can you prime it after blasting?

Yes. Bare steel should be primed soon, especially in Florida humidity. We can prime it, or you can have your painter ready.

How much does sandblasting cost?

It depends on the size of the item, how much rust and paint is on it, where it is and whether you want it painted after. The fastest way to get a real number is to text a few photos and the location to (772) 539-3108 or use the free quote form.
